March 1, 2025, the 4-H Country Critters had a bake sale at Tractor Supply. Each member brought baked goods to raise money for the Putnam County Animal Shelter. We raised $1442.44 in just a few hours; the extra bake goods we had we gave some to Tractor Supply employees and delivered the remaining to CAMC Teays Hospital employees.

The following week we met at Wal-Mart and spent the money on supplies needed for the animal shelter. We purchased cleaning supplies, dog and cat food, cat litter, detergent and many other items they needed. We delivered all the items to the Putnam County Animal Shelter. We were also able to sponsor 4 senior dogs.

It was a great learning experience we were able to give back to the community and help the Putnam County animal shelter.
