Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia Lisa G. Johnston announced a default judgment of $956,709 against Putnam County veterinarian Clara Ann Mason on Tuesday, August 5. Mason was unable to account for 9,796 dosage units of oxycodone HCL, hydrocodone/acetaminophen and other controlled substances. Dr. Mason has provided veterinarian services for horses and small animals in Putnam County for around ten years.
