Saturday, March 7th, was pageant time for the West Virginia Cupcake Festival. The pageant produced five WV Cupcake and seven Miss Mini Cupcake winners.

Cayden Holcomb of South Charleston was named Miss West Virginia Cupcake Festival 2026. She will represent the WV Cupcake Festival at the 2027 West Virginia Fairs and Festivals Pageant next January in Charleston. Miss Holcomb and members of her court will be busy promoting and participating in the WV Cupcake Festival to be held August 27-29. The WV Cupcake Festival supports local children’s charities, with 100% of proceeds from this year’s event going to Backpack Buddies of Putnam County. In 2025, Festival proceeds were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The festival has raised nearly $65,000 for various local children’s causes during its 11-year history.
