The 2026 Hurricane Independence Day Celebration Pageants brought more than 40 participants to the Valley Park Conference Center on Saturday, April 11. The pageants produced twelve winners with Baby Miss, Tiny Miss, Toddler Miss, Mini Miss, Petite Miss, Little Miss, Junior Miss, Pre-Teen, Teen, Ms., Mrs., and Queen contestants receiving crowns.
Olivia Stanley of Southside is the 2026 Hurricane Independence Day Celebration Queen. She will represent Hurricane in Charleston in January at the 2027 West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festival along with over 85 other young women from around the state as they compete for the title of WVAFF to represent the 2027 State Fair of West Virginia.
The winners will represent the City of Hurricane at various events throughout the entirety of 2026. The 4th of July will be a big day for all with Hurricane’s annual parade to be followed by festivities at Bridge Park.
