On December 6, 2025, the Putnam County CloverSTEMs competed in the WV State First Lego League Robotic Championship at Fairmont State University. The team won the Core Values Award, which celebrates demonstration of First Lego League values of discovery, innovation, impact, inclusion, fun, and cooperation.
The CloverSTEMs competition season began in September when they started working on a research and innovation project to go with the 2025-2026 archaeological theme. The team members chose to create a website to locate and identify sites with archaeological significance to increase awareness of these sacred sites.
The CloverSTEMs are a 4-H Robotics team that have been competing since 2014. For more information on upcoming events, follow the CloverSTEMs on their Facebook.
