Triton to Build Culloden Interchange

The contract to build the Culloden I-64 Interchange was awarded to Triton Construction. Construction will require upgrading a portion of Benedict Road and building an access to U.S. Route 60.

When plans for the interchange were made public in January of 2019, the projected cost of construction was projected to be $29.6 million.

Considering inflation-related costs, Triton’s bid of $32 million may be a bargain. Triton’s West Virginia headquarters is located in Putnam County at 1944 Winfield Road, St. Albans.

Construction is expected to be completed before the end of 2025.
