On Monday, October 3, Mayor Scott Edwards unveiled plans for a skateboard park which will be located in City Park adjacent to the Hurricane Reservoir.

Aaron Anderson, a local skateboarder who has traveled around the country to many skate parks, assisted the City with the design plan and Nate Giertz, a HHS student who rides a scooter who initially approached the Mayor about 18 months ago regarding an idea for a new skatepark in Hurricane, unveiling the photo.
