Art Loft to Hold Grand Opening

Patsy Samples displays a painting which captures feelings that need to be shared.

Helping others and making things pretty have been continuing life-long pursuits for Patsy Samples of Hurricane Route 34 South. Patsy and husband Steve are opening the Art Loft at 76 Midland Trail with plans to combine the two pursuits into one by helping others to obtain and produce their own pretty things.

The Art Loft offers prints of Patsy’s original oil paintings, homemade candles and soaps, personally refurbished furniture, antiques, and home decore for purchase along with materials and supplies by which crafters may produce their own personal treasures. WoodUbend, Iron Orchid Design, Re·Design with Prima®, and Wild Elf Designs products are all available at Art Loft. In addition to merchandise, the Art Loft offers how-to-do-it classes and workshops.

While not yet officially open for business, Art Loft’s weekly classes began on the last Thursday of May. Grand Opening will be Friday, June 30, with at 2:00 p.m. ribbon cutting. Visitors will see a lot of pretty things — things that they would like to enjoy in their homes and custom designs that would look awfully good on furniture pieces in already in their possession.

The Art Loft’s hours are 11am to 7pm on Wednesday through Saturday and from 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday. Classes are 6-8pm on Thursdays. For additional information, call 304-562-0555.

Both Crystal and Patsy Samples will be greeting Art Lot visitors at the Grand Opening.
