SATURDAYS THROUGH OCTOBER 28
The Putnam County Farmers Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the field beside Exxon/Arby’s on Route 34 in Teays Valley.

SEPTEMBER 14
Story time will be held at the Buffalo and Hurricane Libraries at 10 a.m., and the Putnam County Main Library at 6 p.m.
MOPS (Moms of Preschoolers) will be holding their first play date of the year at 10 a.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane.

There will be an evening of praise starting at 7 p.m. at Bancroft Mission, 5936 Charleston Road, Bancroft.
The Putnam County Chamber of Commerce will be holding a morning meet up from 8 to 9 a.m. at Area 34/Putnam Provisions, 971 WV Route 34, Teays Valley.

“Encanto” will be showing at the Putnam County Main Library at 10 a.m.
There will be a fundraiser to support the Putnam County Animal Shelter from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tractor Supply in Hurricane.
WV Cupcake Festival BINGO will start at 6 p.m. at Valley Park Conference Center in Hurricane. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
The Hurricane First Church of the Nazarene, located on Route 60, will be hosting a conversation with Nabeel David, Iraqi Army Veteran, at 10 a.m.

The Putnam County Young Life Disc Golf Tournament will start at 2 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane.
The reunion for the descendants of Calvery and Lucretia Gibson will start at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church on Hurricane Creek Road.

The Upper Vandalia Historical Society will be hosting an open house from 10 a.m. to noon at the Poca Library.

Mount Vernon Baptist Church will be holding a book club to discuss “Uninvited” by Lysa TerKeurst from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Winfield Community Center.
