“In the Fullness of Time” came to life through skits and song on Sunday, December 10, as the First Baptist Church of Hurricane held its annual Christmas cantata. The performance gave everyone a chance to experience the wait of one’s desires to be fulfilled by God. The plot revolved around a conversation between a grandmother (played by Cynthia Sorsaia) and her twelve-year-old granddaughter (Katie Doerner), who was frustrated that her mother (Sarah Doerner) was always telling her to wait until she was older to do fun and exciting things.

The cantata featured a variety of Christmas songs including the classic “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.”
