Community Calendar for Week of February 8

NOW – FEBRUARY
There is a free open gym for 1st through 5th graders every Saturday from to 11 a.m. at ZoneOut Sports, Morris Court, Hurricane.

There will be a board game night for adults at 6 p.m. at Hometown Apostolic Church, 204 2nd Avenue N, Hometown. Bring a covered dish and your favorite game.
The Foam Garage, 2716 Putnam Avenue, Hurricane, will be holding a foam dance party for ages 7 to 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. The cost is $10 per child.
Social Event Space, 2833 Main Street, Hurricane, will be holding a Market Series from 6 to 9 p.m. Local crafts, food, and business vendors. Live music by Holly Forbes.

Bake My Day, 14 Bank Street, Nitro, will be holding a Make Your Own Macarons Party from 1 to 3 p.m. The cost to attend is $35 per person.
Gritt’s Midway Greenhouse, Route 62, Midway, will be holding their 3rd Annual Hearts and Houseplants event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Putnam County Farmers Market will be holding a pop up market from 9 a.m. to noon at Area 34, 971 WV Route 34, Teays Valley.
The Foam Garage, 2716 Putnam Avenue, Hurricane, will be holding a foam dance party for ages 1 to 6 from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $10 per child.
Groovin in Green Zumbathon will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at HellaFit Boxing Cardio Fitness, 2704 Main Street, Hurricane. Register at 12:30 p.m.
There will be a fun free family workout at 11 a.m. at Social Event Space, 2833 Main Street, Hurricane. All ages welcome.
The Board Room, located behind the Hurricane Walmart, will be holding a comic trade day from noon to 5 p.m.
