- The Putnam County Farmer’s Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the field beside Exxon, across from the Putnam County Library in Teays Valley.
- The County Roads Farmers’ Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Valley Park in Hurricane.
MAY 16
- There will be a community gathering starting at 5 p.m. at Mitchell’s Grove, Hometown Park, on Route 62. Ryan Mobley will be performing.
- The Putnam County Senior Prom (for Senior Citizens) will be held from 4-7 p.m. at the Hometown Senior Center, located at 40 1st Street N, Hometown. This year, the prom will be themed “Enchanted Forest.”” Music by the Wildwood Players.
- The Pulse Church, 5368 WV Route 34, Winfield, will be holding Come Let Us Adore Him, a night of worship, starting at 6:30 p.m.
- Christ Community Church, 733 Rocky Step Road, Scott Depot, will be holding Wonder Junction Jamboree for children and families from 6 to 8 p.m. Carnival games, bounce house, activities, and more.

- The Wagenfolks VW Club will be holding a Bug Out Cruz-In for VW Bugs from 6 p.m. until dark at the Putnam County Bank parking lot behind McDonalds in Hurricane.

- Historical Square Community Church, 20058 Buffalo Road, will be holding their annual craft event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- There will be a spring fling at the St. Albans Roadside Park on Route 60 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Music, food, kids’ activities.
