- Visit everybody’s favorite Square Pumpkin – Spookley – at Gritt’s Fun Farm in Buffalo. The schedule is 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 11:30 a.m., 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Spookley visits included with general admission ticket.

- There will be flu shots at the Buffalo Library from 10 to 11 a.m.
- Vandalia Backgammon Club will be holding weekly backgammon games from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Putnam Moose Lodge, located in Putnam Village Shopping Center. Open to the public.

- The Putnam County Library will be at Gritt’s Farm in Eleanor for special story times and read-alongs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pumpkin House.
- The Poca High School Class of 1985 reunion will be held at the Eleanor Park.
- The West Virginia High School Rodeo Association will be holding the Wild and Wonderful Round Up Rodeo at the Winfield Riding Club. The event begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $10.
