Wild and Wonderful Round Up Rodeo Lights the Night

Riders test their calf-roping skills in a competition on Saturday, September 27, at the Winfield Riding Club.

The Wild and Wonderful Roundup, hosted by the West Virginia High School Rodeo Association, was held at the Winfield Riding Club this past Saturday, September 27. The rodeo was open to children, teenagers, and adults, with activities and competitions for all ages and skill levels. Some of the highlights of the event included bareback riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, and roping.

The Wild and Wonderful Roundup is a fundraiser for the West Virginia High School Rodeo Association. The mission of the organization is to promote student rodeo athletes and provide future opportunities through college scholarships. The Wild and Wonderful Roundup was part of a three-day weekend of activities held by the West Virginia High School Rodeo Association.
