MAY 28
There will be a fundraiser for the Heart of Phoenix horse rescue organization from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Paint and Sip, 948 4th Avenue #101, Huntington. $45 includes an evening of guided painting. Bring a snack and your favorite drink.

JUNE 12
Putnam County Grad Night will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. at the Wave Pool in Hurricane. Entry is $10 per person. There will be a live DJ, prizes, games, food, and a showing of “The Meg” on the big screen.

JUNE 13 – 16
The 35th West Virginia Jubilee will be held at Teays Valley Baptist Church, 3926 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. and 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Sunday; 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday; 10 a.m. to noon and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday; and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

JUNE 14 – 18
The Buffalo Church of the Nazarene will be holding VBS from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. nightly. The theme is “Cruising Through the Bible.”
